The ARTIST / PRODUCER development programme is for youth aged 15 - 24 who have completed another of Cresendo’s programmes and show promise and drive to independently continue music production.
You will work alongside Crescendo’s Youth Production Mentor 1:1 for two hours a week as you build knowledge, connections and work towards professionally recording and releasing one of your songs.
Classes run for 2 hours a week, Wed - Fri for 10 weeks. Times are by arrangement.
Artist / Producer Development Programme
WHAT
Over the term, through working on your own song you will learn everything that’s involved in writing, recording and releasing a song from copyright and contracts, to studio etiquette, planning recording sessions and working with producers You will also learn the basics of finances for artists (potential funding sources, invoicing and taxes) as well as planning skills, communication and building resilience as an artist.

2 HRS PER WEEK BY ARRANGEMENT TERM 2: Wed 30th April - Thur 3rd July. Graduation Date: Thur 3rd July. TERM 3: Wed 23rd July - Thur 25th September. Graduation Date: Thur 25th September. TERM 4: Wed 15th October - Thur 18th December. Graduation Date Thur 18th December.
