Can you source voice talent for my project? Yes, Crescendo works with several voice agencies and can source your talent.
Can the producer join the session remotely? Yes. We can set up a Zoom link so the producer can talk to the voice talent and ‘sit in’ virtually in the session.
Do you have Source-Connect? Yes. If you want to work with a local studio and have the talent in Auckland, we can set up a Source-Connect link to record.
Can you do recordings in different languages? Yes. Crescendo can do recordings in any language.
What microphones do you use? Crescendo record audio with a Shure SM7B or Neumann U87.
Can you sync audio to video? Yes, if you have a video that needs narration over the top we can time the audio to hit video cues.
Can you add sound effects? Yes, Crescendo can create and add sound effects to your project if needed.
Do you do post-production? Yes, Crescendo engineers can provide RAW files or cleaned audio.
How much does it cost to record a voice-over? The cost to record a voice-over varies by project. If you are using voice talent from a voice agency the cost will depend on the final use of the voice-over (i.e., TV, internet, radio). The studio fee is an hourly rate. Contact us for a quote.
How do I get work as a voice-over artist? Crescendo is not a voice talent agency (but we do use them to find voices for projects). If you want to be listed as a voice talent you will need to create a voice audition reel and submit them to voice agencies. Contact us if you want to create a voice reel.
