Crescendo runs music and audio mentoring programmes for rangitahi between the ages of 15-24. Many of our youth are referred from social service providers or local schools and for a variety of reasons don’t fit into mainstream schooling or education environments.
Through one-on-one mentoring and organised programmes, Crescendo mentors share skills in music, production and audio engineering. In their time with Crescendo, youth develop higher self esteem as they gain practical skills in music, audio and recording.
Make a donation
Donations to Crescendo help fund music mentoring programmes for youth that don’t fit in to mainstream schooling, higher education or are not currently employed. Youth work alongside top NZ musicians and audio professionals to master their craft and learn about career pathways that otherwise may not be available to them.
Just as importantly as skills, in their time with Crescendo youth grow self esteem and self worth. Many Crescendo youth have gone on to have careers in music, radio, audio engineering and live events.

Corporate Support
We are always looking for more corporate partners. There are many ways to support Crescendo Trust by donating funds or products, running fundraisers with staff or doing a promotion and donating proceeds from product sales we would love to hear from you. We are more than happy to come to your workplace and to present to staff about our work, or invite your team into the studio to see first hand the work we do.
